Day 17: From burnout to $1.5B impact: how I found my own path
And how you can do the same
A recent survey by the American Psychological Association found that 79% of people experience burnout at their current job. đ€ŻÂ
That statistic is insane! Yet, weâre still told to push harder, hustle more, and chase success like itâs just one more task on our endless to-do list. I get it. I was right there, too.
For years, I hustled my way up the ladder, building a business that ultimately helped my clients earn over $1.5 billion.
Impressive, right?
But hereâs the catch:
That âsuccessâ felt empty. I was living a life I thought I should want, not the one I truly did.
And it nearly cost me my sanity.
If youâre feeling burned out, chasing a goal that seems just out of reachâor just plain wondering what your true purpose really isâthis is for you.
Today, in this podcast episode, Iâm sharing my story of breaking free from that grind.
Itâs about finding a path to impact and financial freedom without sacrificing who you are.
And if youâre ready, Iâd love to show you how to do the same.
Hereâs what youâll hear in a nutshellÂ
Transforming adversity into opportunity: Iâve faced some intense struggles, including homelessness, but Iâve come to realize that even the hardest times can be stepping stones to self-discovery and deeper purpose.
Finding a unique path: I spent years trying different jobs before realizing I needed a career that aligned with my neurodivergent brain and diverse interests. Finding work that actually resonates with who I am has made all the difference.
Shifting from blame to responsibility: For so long, I blamed my circumstances and past on others, waiting for someone to rescue me. But my real breakthrough happened when I took full responsibility for my life. That mindset shift empowered me to make real, lasting changes.
Breaking free from âaffluence addictionâ: Society teaches us to chase constant success, but I found myself stuck in what I call the âaffluence addictionâ trap. Redefining success to mean fulfillment, not just financial gains, has brought me closer to the life I truly want.
Creating a business that grows with me: I stopped forcing myself to follow traditional business rules and designed my coaching programs around my own growth journey. This way, Iâve been able to stay in alignment with my values and make a meaningful impact, without feeling trapped by my own success.
Redefining happiness and wealth: There was a time when I had it allâthe luxury house, the steady high incomeâbut it felt heavy and complex. Simplifying my life, even moving into a trailer, showed me that real happiness comes from peace within, not external symbols of success.
Practical steps for self-care: Iâm learning to build little moments of joy and relaxation into my day, like taking a walk, having fun with my kiddo, or just being in the moment. Even when it feels counterintuitive, these breaks are essential for my well-being and productivity.
Embracing my sovereignty: For me, stepping into my own âsovereigntyâ means fully owning my space and decisions. Iâve found that embracing my personal power and making choices true to myself is the most liberating way to live. Itâs a reminder that Iâm on my own unique pathâand thatâs where my strength lies.
